4 Star Self-Catering Holiday Cottages
Clyn Glas is an old Welsh farmhouse which has been developed over the last two centuries. In the past it connected to the local woollen industry and it is believed that weaving was carried out on the premises.
The property is situated in a spectacular position overlooking the valley where the Hiraeth stream runs on its journey to join the River Teifi. (A well renowned Salmon and Sea trout or Sewin river).
The name ‘Clyn Glas’ is derived from an old Welsh word ‘clyne’ and means ‘Green Meadow’.
The holiday cottages at Clyn Glas have been adapted and extended from an old agricultural building which probably originally served as a cowshed. The holiday cottages have recently been refurbished to a very high standard. Both Upper Cottage and Lower Cottage have their own gardens and garden furniture is supplied. There are glorious views over the valley and the birds which visit are many and varied. Large birds of prey (buzzards and red kites) can be seen circling overhead.
The area surrounding the holiday cottages is stunning and walks can be taken from the door. The Blue Flag sandy beaches of Cardigan Bay are only 20 minutes away and within the area are many things to see and do for people of all ages.
